Ike just might...
I've decided to blog here until I get my domain set up(Yay! I'm excited). Even if the setup for this blog does not look right on any other computer but my own...
Ike is currently on it's way.
According to the information I have received at 12pm Galveston is already flooded and Ike was still 250 miles away. The news says it's still collecting momentum.
I'm not in near as much danger as people from the coast or Houston but I'm still anticipating something big.
I do mean it though when I say it BETTER live up to its hype because I had a date scheduled out this weekend in San Antonio w/ a very handsome man and I am not happy one bit. If this storm blows over and my date was postponed for nothing I am going to be one very unhappy little Texan.
I'm anticipating on what will happen to every body's lives after this weekend. I don't have much to loose but I do fear for those who do. I know my family worked hard to get to where they are now. I'd hate to see that all taken away from them. They were planning on getting a house in the country and this has been my parents dream for quit some time.
I guess all I can say is we'll see how everything goes.
Guess no one told Ike that he shouldn't mess with Texas. :|
